These days I am very interested in taking everyday, familiar items and doing something different with it, looking at it from another point of view, sometimes in an amusing way. In this case, I have avoided the traditional still life and I have gone for a quirky painterly expression or impression of an apple. It is in mid-air seemingly undergoing some change, hence the title. It is very layered and textured with the cool background pushing the apple forward. The ground is a professional standard primed artboard. This signed work comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
