POPPY IMPRESSION
This small painting is a textured impression of a poppy field, from memory. Poppies are a dramatic vision so I’ve attempted to express this through free strokes against a warm and cool green with an indication perhaps a slight breeze moving among them. It is painted on the sides also and signed on the reverse.
