What a spectacle she creates as she glides across the sands of the desert with her pom-poms and tassels gently undulating in tune with her movements. What a vibrant spectacle with her bright colours, and her beautiful eyelashes - a Queen indeed. Cleopatra is created in Watercolour paint and pen, with touches of gouache, and is on 638gsm Saunders Waterford paper. Inspired by a wonderful photograph by Hari Nandakumar, she's in shades of ochre, blue, green, hot pink, yellow, magenta, black, which and brown. Thanks to @insituartroom for the room display
