In this painting Nature’s beauty in all its elements possesses an enormous vitality and the promise of infinity, which I have tried to capture here. The blue and the soft peach colour remind of a Mediterranean summer when it’s hot and the colours are fading out because of the sun. This work is made in several layers of oil paint, both with palette knife and brush. I’ve wanted to create a special atmosphere and transmit a message by catching the viewers’ attention and emotion. With this abstract landscape I aimed to give the viewer a space to calm down and remember the important things in life.
