Things Of The Flesh is a series that will have 7 paintings all based on human emotions. This first one is about DEPRESSION. This painting is about the crippling feeling of depression at its ugliest. Depression has no form, it makes the person feel worthless, like a worm, which is why these figures don't have a human lower extremities. The first one on the left is "Losing Its Mind", only thing it wants to do is scream and shout, the second one is "Lost In Thoughts" it can't control... a mind flooded with thoughts usually not positive ones, and the final figure to the right is a type, the of depression that makes some people want to live in it in order to catch people's attention, their pity feeds them, some people feel seen when in depression, it's a psychological game. This is why this being has glitter on its body and it has a terrible smirk as if it was leaching it's hosts energy.
