Metta LH was painted in 2021 as part of my animal series. It depicts a bull on a beach with mountains in the background. The bull (toro) is a symbol in Spain, where I live since 2003. I have created a series of colourful bulls to hopefully give a different, peaceful impression of these beautiful, strong, but also friendly animals. Metta LH was painted on a very old canvas that I was gifted. It is not clear from the picture, but the canvas is rough at the sides. This, to me, give that extra charm to the artwork.
