Haniel, also known as archangel of joy is painted in acrylics on special paper. Created intuitively it depicts an angel holding 'herself'. Made in 2017. After a period of painting mainly flamenco dancers I wanted to change the subject. I decided to make light-hearted, positive, happy-making paintings and angels just seemed to appear. Painted with acrylics, but I’ve incorporated some glitter, which you will see when the lights fall on it from a certain angle. I did this to create a mysterious feel.
