Who is Soundousse ?

Born in Casablanca in 1971, she did her primary studies at the Jean Jaurès and Victor Hugo schools in Casablanca, and secondary studies at Lycée Lyautey IV. Worked in a garment factory in the field of accounting and then secretary of direction in three private companies.

In 1995 she got married in Rabat and had two children. In the year 2000 she moved to Paris, France with her family and studied professional make-up: cinema, theater, fashion, bridal, television, face painting and body painting.

Soundousse's work

Her work is the fruit of a thousand year old culture where colors, forms and pictorial representations find their origins in oriental traditions. She paints dreams, her subconscious and her ancestral past with enthusiasm.
