Paige Walker

My name is Paige Walker. I am an abstract painter, a retired art adjunct, and have a MA from Texas Woman's University, and a BA from the University of Texas at Dallas. I have participated in shows in Texas, New York, and Italy.
In my works, plane, foreground, background, and liberated art elements disrupt one another, disruption and partial reconciliation are sought. The polished areas are meant to represent our civilized side, the rough and raw areas, well, like life is.
I paint to figure things out. Yes, a tall demand on some lines, shapes, and colors. I paint because I want to, and it is fun. My hope is that my art encourages the viewer to think and explore the works.
