Abha

Abha is a contemporary Indian artist, living and working in Saigon in Vietnam for more than a decade.

Abha spent most of her life in the foothills of the Himalayan mountains in India. The remoteness of the location and distance from big cities curtailed her in interacting with other artists and galleries. However, she kept her creativity alive by taking commissioned artworks over the years, which are now on display in many homes and hotels across India, Europe and the USA.

In absence of a formalized training in the arts, Abha’s deepest influence remains her German art teacher throughout her years in high school in the University of Cambridge, U.K. Her confidence in her strokes and use of colors were embedded early and she continues to practice her skills in various mediums over the years since.
